War changed millions of lives overnight
Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 forced families to flee their homes, separated loved ones and damaged housing, schools, hospitals, energy systems and other essential infrastructure.
Years later, the need remains severe. People inside Ukraine continue to face displacement, attacks and disrupted services, while refugees across Europe and beyond work to rebuild stability. Children carry particular risks: interrupted education, family separation, injury, displacement and lasting psychological stress.
